Graševina of Slavonia and Croatian Podunavlje on VINART Grand Tasting

The eleventh edition of VINART Grand Tasting 2026, held on 6 and 7 March 2026 at Lauba in Zagreb, brought together 140 wineries, including 16 from Slavonia and the Croatian Danube region. These wineries are members of the regional association Graševina Croatica and included Adžić Vina, Vino Buhač, Vinarija Danubio, Enosophia, Galić Vina, Iločki podrumi, Vina Jakob, Vina Jakovac, K55 – Vinarija & destilerija, Krauthaker, Vinarija Kutjevo, Vina Markota, Vinarija Perak, Royal Hill Estate, Vinarija Sontacchi, and Zlatno Brdo.

The event attracted a significant number of wine professionals and enthusiasts. By participating in one of Croatia’s most important wine gatherings, wineries from Slavonia and the Croatian Danube region seized the opportunity to present the richness of Graševina and other regional wines to a wider audience.

A masterclass entitled “The Best Graševinas of Slavonia and the Croatian Danube Region” was held at the Hotel Esplanade, led by sommelier Darko Lugarić. The workshop showcased eight selected Graševina wines that had received top awards at international competitions over the past year. These included Graševina 2024 (Galić Vina), Graševina 2024 (Vinum Academicum), Tradition Grand Selection Graševina 2021 (Vina Antunović), Mitrovac 2019 (Krauthaker), De Gotho (Vinarija Kutjevo), Graševina Antique Premium 2023 (K55 – Vinarija & destilerija), Graševina Archive 2000 (Iločki podrumi), and Ice Wine 2018 (Vinarija Perak).

The presentation of Graševina wines from Slavonia and the Croatian Danube region at wine events across Croatia forms part of broader promotional activities within the European project Rueda–Graševina Project, implemented by Graševina Croatica in partnership with the Spanish wine region D.O. Rueda.

The project is carried out under the theme “Quality and Food Safety” and the slogan “Products and Traditions from Europe. Sharing Means Living.” It is co-funded by the European Union through the EU AGRIP Programme, which supports the promotion of agricultural products.
