Hotel Kurija Mihalović is a new address for a luxury holiday in Slavonia, where the heritage of the noble Mihalović family meets modern hospitality.

It's hot at sea. In recent years, more and more travelers are looking for a different scenario for their summer vacation. Instead of large resorts, they are choosing places that have a story, character, and a sense of connection with the landscape. One such example is in Feričanci, a Slavonian town at the foot of Krndija known for its long winemaking tradition. Surrounded by vineyards, forests, and greenery, Feričanci has been building its tourism story in recent years through a combination of wine, gastronomy, nature, and active holidays. In this landscape, the renovated Kurija Mihalović, a late Baroque castle dating to the end of the 18th century that is now a luxury heritage hotel, has found its place.

"We believe that the greatest value lies in places that have a soul, and our goal was to preserve that soul and bring it closer to our guests. For us, Kurija Mihalović is not an ordinary hotel, but a story about a region, its history and future," said Josip Ergović, CEO of NEXE d.d., the company behind the renovation of this exclusive hotel.
Kurija Mihalović was conceived as a boutique hotel with five rooms and one apartment that is also a panoramic viewpoint, a wellness area with a swimming pool, saunas, a steam bath, and relaxation areas, inspired by wine tradition. The Enosophia winery's wine archive is located in the basement. "Wine is an inseparable part of the identity of the people of Feričane. We wanted the wine archive and the Enosophija experience to be a natural continuation of the story of the Kurija. A place where guests will get to know the region through its tastes, smells and people," says Ergović.
