Zelina – Weekend Inspiration, new tourist message of Sv. Ivan Zelina

With the presentation of its new visual identity and tourist communication messages on 8 October 2025, held in the hall of the newly renovated Zelina Museum, the Tourist Board of the Town of Sv. Ivan Zelina opened a new chapter in promoting Sv. Ivan Zelina as an attractive, appealing, and distinctive destination.

Sv. Ivan Zelina has been presented as a “Weekend Inspiration” – a destination ideal for a short getaway, offering the most appealing experiences for enjoying nature and wine tourism. The Zelina weekend inspiration has also been featured in a new promotional brochure and promotional video, serving as sources of inspiration for green, wine, and other forms of travel to Zelina.

With its spacious, hilly, vineyard landscape filled with an ever-growing number of attractive accommodation options and new wineries, Sv. Ivan Zelina has evolved into a tempting destination for active tourism and relaxing stays in nature, offering all the expected comforts of modern travel.

There is a secret in wine – and wine is also food. The vineyards of Zelina are crowned with the “Zelina Kraljevina”, and exploring this indigenous variety of wine – from old cellars and traditional cottages to modern wineries – is a must for wine lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. The rolling vineyards form part of the authentic Zelina landscape of vines, hills, and cottages shared with friends.

The presentation of the new visual identity, promotional brochure, and video comes shortly after a significant international recognition, which placed Zelina among the ‘Green Destinations Top 100 Stories’.

“After years of developing authentic tourist content in line with sustainability standards, continuously improving the destination, and highlighting Zelina’s distinctive tourist features, we have built a foundation upon which we are creating a recognisable tourist identity and clear market communication,” said Marinka Zubčić Mubrin, Director of the Tourist Board of Sv. Ivan Zelina.

“The messages we presented are designed to highlight the key motives for visiting our destination and its main tourist experiences. Zelina is a naturally preserved, authentic, and welcoming destination that offers a true sense of connection between nature and people.”
