Moslavina Winemakers won 20 medals on Decanter WWA

At Art Caffe in Sisak, the top wines from Moslavina were presented, which won awards this year at the largest and most prestigious wine competition in the world, the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026. Winemakers from the Sisak-Moslavina County won 20 medals: two gold, three silver and 15 bronze.

Sisak-Moslavina County will continue to be your partner and support the development of viticulture and winemaking, because with your successes you represent our region and its rich wine tradition in the best way," said County Prefect Ivan Celjak.

"One of the projects we are proud of is supporting Moslavina winemakers when presenting their wines at the Decanter World Wine Awards. In addition to financial support for the participation fee, in cooperation with internationally recognized sommeliers in February we conduct a pre-selection of wines and the highest quality samples are placed on Decanter. As part of the project, education and workshops are planned, all with the aim of branding Moslavina wines as strongly as possible," points out Ivana Plavec, director of the SMŽ Tourist Board.

Winning a medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards is one of the greatest recognitions in the world of winemaking, and this year's results confirm that Sisak-Moslavina County is becoming increasingly recognizable as a region of top wines. "I would like to thank the Sisak-Moslavina County and the Tourist Board of the SMŽ for their continuous support and appreciation of what we do. We have been sending our wines to Decanter for evaluation since 2019, and this year I won two gold medals," said Nikica Katić from Kleti Romić, whose wines "Ovnek" and "Dragonada Crna" were awarded gold medals.
