Original Kaštelir-Labinci

The products of local family farms offered by Butiga from Kaštelir are already recognisable for their top quality, and all the items carry the "Original Kaštelir-Labinci" quality mark. This is an additional confirmation that you have bought top-quality products from the Kaštelir region, which combine the best qualities and specifics.

For this purpose, the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Kaštelir-Labinci applied to the competition of the Fund for Tourism Underdeveloped Areas and the Continent, and for this project called "Improving the tourist offer by awarding the quality mark of agricultural marks", TZ Kaštelir-Labinci was approved for 4264.31 euros. Thanks to this money, a distinctive sign was made that will be placed on all products autochthonously produced in the area of Kaštelir and Labinci, which are currently sold in Butiga.

We have already made stickers, label paper, scotch tape, wrapping paper, boxes and business cards. MAKE Creative Design Studio is responsible for the design of the label, and the name was created by the Premium Image agency. Butiga, as is already known, is the result of joint cooperation between the Municipality of Kaštelir-Labinci, the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Kaštelir-Labinci and the Vitis Agricultural Association. It is, among other things, a true example of what a product of sustainable, rural tourism should look like and is designed as strong support for producers from the area of Kaštelir and Labinci.

Decorated in the building of the former bus waiting room, it has become a unique example of a store that offers visitors homemade, local delicacies in one place and throughout the year. The project of designing the quality label "Original Kaštelir-Labinci" is a logical sequence of development and progress of projects in this rural community and tourism in the area, especially since Kaštelir-Labinci is included in the network of the World's Best Tourist Villages according to UNWTO.
