Sparkling breakfast at the Pavlomir vineyard

On Saturday, June 7, 2025, a hedonistic event took place – Sparkling Breakfast in the Vineyard. The Pavlomir Wine House vineyard once again became the epicenter of pleasure, top-quality sparkling wines, and Kvarner hospitality.

The event brought together numerous visitors, wine enthusiasts, tourists, and journalists, as well as carefully selected exhibitors – winemakers and producers of delicacies from Kvarner and the surrounding area. Visitors enjoyed the bubbles of sparkling wines from winemakers who are members of the Kvarner Wines association, including Karleuša Wines and the guest winery Vuglec Breg. Winemakers presented their sparkling wines – from elegant žlahtinas to aromatic blends and labels known beyond Croatia's borders.

Buretić Bregi provided a rich gastronomic table with its cured meat delicacies, Toljanić with prosciutto, OPG Trivić and the Runolist cheese farm with various cheeses, Riba Dražin, which offered various fish specialties, and traditional Bakar baškoti and Bribir prisnac. Kavana Toš delighted with pralines and chocolates, Vilma with desserts with the famous Rab cake and a welcome drink, while OPG Uremović sweetened everything with cherries. The sparkling breakfast was opened by the director of the Novi Vinodolski Tourist Board, Tena Peričić, the owner of the Pavlomir Wine House, Miroslav Palinkaš, and Marija Vukelić, the project's initiator. The opening act was completed by Marinko Vladić, the enologist of Pavlomir Wine House, who opened a 3-liter Palinkaš Geni sparkling wine made from graševina.

This year, the Sparkling Breakfast was relocated to a new venue within the vineyards of the Pavlomir Wine House, and it proved to be a complete success. The natural shade, the unique ambiance of the vineyard, jazz melodies performed by the Sunny Side jazz trio, and the carefully selected romantic decoration by team made this event truly unforgettable.

As part of the program for registered visitors, an expert workshop on the uniqueness of Kvarner scampi was held. The workshop was led by Prof. Marija Vukelić, the initiator of the Sparkling Breakfast, while Mladen Komadina, a shrimper and owner of the famous tavern Pod Orajem from Klenovica, was in charge of the freshly caught scampi. At the workshop, this Adriatic delicacy was tasted in two ways – raw and grilled, and was paired with sparkling Žlahtina and premium olive oil Oio Vivo from Istria.

This was followed by En Primeur Kvarner, during which wineries presented their new still wines – a rare opportunity to experience firsthand what is just coming to market.

The Sparkling Breakfast is a sub-project of the Zagreb Sparkling Wine Salon, and is organized in cooperation with the Tourist Board of the City of Novi Vinodolski, the Kvarner Tourist Board, the Pavlomir Wine House and the Kvarner Wine Association.

I used to think that needing help meant I was failing, but hiring someone to help with my online class taught me otherwise. When I decided to hire someone to take my online class, it was out of necessity, not laziness. I had multiple responsibilities that couldn’t be ignored. The help I got was reliable and confidential, and the performance exceeded my expectations. Sometimes getting help is just being smart about your time and priorities.
