In Pop Summer Garden at the Tuškanac in Zagreb, in front of a moving sparkling wine bar, the Bubbly Bar of the Women on Wine association, together with Andreola winery, presented the sparkling Prosecco area of Valdobbiadene in Italy, known for its Prosecco DOCG production. All the wines are awarded at world festivals and can be tasted in restaurants all over the world, from New York to Hong Kong. Andreola Boutique Winery was founded in 1984 by Nazzareno Pola, in the appeal of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, and today it is run by the second generation of his family.
The director of the winery Andreola, Dr. Cristian Maddalena presented four labels from Riva Selection, the highest Andreola line of prosecco; 26 degrees Primo Rive di Col San Martino, zero dosage, Col de Forno Rive de Refrontolo brut, and two semi-dry prosseco, Mas de Fer Rive Del Soligo (extra dry) and vintage prosecco Vigne Dei Piai Rive dei Rolle (dry). All of these sparkling wines can be served as an aperitif, along with Mediterranean cuisine or desserts in dry varieties (Vigne dei Piai). Rive selection of Andreola, Cru prosecco DOCG is obtained from vineyards on slopes at 500 m above sea level where climatic conditions provide ideal conditions for the growth of Glera, a Prosecco variety.
Andreola Prosecco can be tasted at the Bubbly Bar from July 10 to August 5 in the centre of Zagreb, in the park Zrinjevac.
