The Zagreb Burger Festival on Strossmayer Square in Zagreb brought together gourmets, lovers of good snacks and drinks. Seventy kinds of burgers are being prepared! World-renowned DJs such as Huey Morgan, Kenny Dope and Big Daddy Kane, with a strong domestic addition and two concerts, make the Festival's free music program. Self-promotion is possible on six original photo points and in the children's zone.
Also special addition is the craft beer Märzen by The Garden Brewery, specially made for this festival. A great news is a burger ordering application that will greatly reduce rows and waiting - the FestApp, created by Dings Solutions, in collaboration with the organizer, the creative agency of Kokoš ili Jaje (Chicken or Egg). Norman Jay will also feature at After Party Festival at The Garden Brewery, for which entrance tickets can be purchased at entrio.hr. The event is of a competitive character, so the favourite burgers will be chosen by visitors, bloggers and gastro journalists.
A real gourmet delicatessen dish is thus made including meat with fine sauces, special additions and tough buns. This year reveals 18 hamburger masters from Zagreb, Pula and Split. Last year's winner, the Mason Burger & Staff, flirts with "wine burgers", El Toro plunges in the direction of Latin taste, 50 A Burger & Champagne Bar proudly introduces chicken, lamb and vegetarian varieties, Good Food prepares burger for 4 people, BarBaQ promises ultimate sweetness from a new smoker Đurina hiža & Meat the King and Maredo prepares a variety of home tastes. Cellar Grill announces burger with whiskey, black and white truffles, and colourful burgers will be present at Burger Factory, Kitchen & Grill Plac and Špiro.
brings burgers with pork lard in double and triple varieties, while Submarine is proud of a special festival burger with pancetta and sausage of black Slavonian pigs. Pod Zidom offers tasty buds in Istrian, Dalmatian and continental combinations, Kascheta presents the burger with smoked mozzarella and The Burger Bar prepares BBQ special - hot & spicy in light brioche baking. The original lamb burger is making of The Garden Bar & Kitchen, while the Split masters, Toto's Burger Bar, feature dark, juicy burger and crunchy sweet potatoes. Ledo’s Ice & Fries offers crispy potatoes and ice cream, and Volim ljuto offers variety of hot spices and prepares a contest for eating hot pies, 15.09 at 17.30.
If you get thirsty, there are up to five bars to choose from: The Garden Brewery with special Märzen beer festival, Gingle Bells with a wealth of gin, Rakijarnica & Mangos with home-made brandies and original glitter cocktails, Jameson offers fine-bodied hard liquers, and Gemišt bar Jamnica will be favourite among fans of classic drinks. The festival is open until September 23.
