Palačinka Fest in Zagreb

At seven festival booths, visitors to the Pancake Fest this season can enjoy more than 50 flavors that combine savory and sweet, with a touch of chili, mozzarella or various creamy spreads, fruits or toppings such as caramel, ice cream or whipped cream... There are also flavors such as plum jam, apples with cinnamon or classic chocolate spreads. Thin French pancakes, pancake cakes, American pancakes, family XXL versions, bowls full of fruit and cream and savory cachapas will show how many different recipes can be developed from a few basic ingredients.

"The offer is designed so that you can come to the festival for dessert, but also for a specific savory snack, a family gathering or an evening out after returning from the seaside. This is our most visited festival and we look forward to it every year because everyone enjoys pancakes and everyone wants to try new, different flavors," explains Marin Medak, organizer of the Pancake Fest in Rougemarin Park.

Every day from 5 pm, and on weekends from 10 am until late evening, the smell of pancakes spreads throughout the park.

French crepes - Lino Lada

For lovers of the classics, this booth prepares thin French crepes with various Lino Lada spreads. In addition to Milk, Gold, Gold Creamy and Duo variants, combinations of coconut, crispy Lino Pillows and forest fruits are also offered.

Pancake Bowl - Plazma

The classic pancake is transformed into a Pancake Bowl - a bowl with mini pancakes, cream, fruit, granola and crumble. Combinations include Granola Crunch, Chocolate & Hazelnut, Banoffee, Pistachio & Raspberry and Apple & Lemon.

Family XXL - Metro Chef

These are pancakes for sharing. For tables where pancakes are ordered for the whole group, XXL pancakes are the best choice. Large pancakes come with tiramisu cream and blueberries, mascarpone and hazelnuts, chocolate, vanilla and chocolate and pistachio cream.

Cachapas – Dukat

Cachapas are soft corn pancakes popular in Venezuela. They are savory combinations with mozzarella and jalapeño, cheese and cream, onion jam with pieces of prosciutto and a chili con carne variant.

Kajzeršmarn – Podravka

To je kajzeršmarn, odnosno carski drobljenac, poslužen sa šećerom u prahu, karamelom i različitim vrstama džema. Uz jagodu, šljivu, marelicu, šipak i šumsko voće. U ovoj kućici u ponudi je i klasik – jedna jedina bakina palačinka s pekmezom od šljiva.

Kajzeršmarn – Podravka

It is kajzeršmarn, or imperial crumble, served with powdered sugar, caramel and different types of jam. Along with strawberries, plums, apricots, pomegranates and forest fruits. This little house also offers a classic – a single grandma's pancake with plum jam.

Pancake cake - Belje-ABC

Pancake cakes are made up of several thin pancakes and ABC cheese cream. Flavors include salted caramel, four types of chocolate, pistachio, forest fruit, and vanilla with Oreo crumble.

Pancake Flower – Barcaffè

American pancakes shaped like a dessert flower. They come in combinations of tiramisu cream and coffee, pistachio and raspberries, apple and lemon, chocolate and hazelnut, and white chocolate and blueberries.

Pancake Fest will run from August 20th to September 20th. Rouge cocktails are also available.
